Kedarnath Box Office Collection Day 4: After the Applauding Weekend, Kedarnath Passes the Monday Test

After registering healthy three days, Kedarnath passes the crucial test, which was Monday. Released on 7 December, the love romance set in the backdrop of the Kedarnath flood disaster of 2013, had good three days at the box office and earned a fantastic total of ₹ 27. 75 crore. The film did not stop here and had a healthy first Monday, which we think is commendable because Monday is a working day and 90% of films witness fall in numbers on the day no matter how big they are. It earns  ₹ 4.25 cr on Monday taking its total to a very good mark of ₹ 32 crore. Kedarnath box office collection day 4 is undoubtedly healthy keeping the fact in mind that it’s getting a nack and nack competition from the last week release 2.0. If the film sails through well on weekdays, it will surely be a hit easily.

Kedarnath Box Office Collection Day 4 At A Glance:

Fri ₹ 7.25 cr

Sat ₹ 9.75 cr

Sun ₹ 10.75 cr

Monday ₹ 4.25 cr.

Total: ₹ 32 cr. India biz.

This is also true that this Abhishek Kapoor directorial got mixed reviews by the critics and the word of mouth for the film was not pretty sound, despite such odds, the film is cruising well at the box office getting numbers at the end of the day. It’s is expected that the film will do even better on Sunday and get the bigger numbers as compared to Friday and Saturday.

For Kedarnath, the last week’s release 2.0 is proving tough as nails. The Shankar directorial is wrecking not only the Indian box office but also worldwide in terms of business. The Hindi version of 2.0 has collected more than ₹ 150 crores while it has bagged more than ₹ 500 crore worldwide.

We consider this figure outstanding for two following reasons:

  • Friday was working day and a film still earns more than five crores on Friday you can assume the curiosity of the people for the film.
  • A big budget, much awaited, mega starrer, and most importantly highly praised film 2.0 is already in cinemas. 2.0 is already having a golden streak at the box office and has already bagged a whopping total of more than ₹ 130 crores. In such a scenario, getting theaters, the number of shows and the right time of shows is a little difficult. Thus, earning more than ₹ 7 crores on its opening day is really very fantastic.
