After Padmavat, Salman’s Loveratri Faces Protest from VHP

After Padmavat, another film has put itself in the conflict. This time its Salman’s production house film Love Ratri, which is a debut venture of his own brother-in-law Ayush Sharma and the newcomer Warina Hussain is being targeted by The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) for distorting the name of a Hindu festival, Navaratri. VHP has even warned the filmmakers stating they will not allow the screening of the film as it might hurt the sentiments of Hindus.

Set in the backdrop of Gujrat, the romantic drama evinces the story of the pair during the nine-night festival of Navratri. This is also the directorial debut of Abhiraj Minawala, who has served as an assistant director for the films like Sultan and Fan.
